We are making a difference!

countselling and support
We have support groups where women can share their experiences which is supervised by our support team who works one on one with victims. We have a dedicated company that facilitates all our counselling, ensuring that victims are able to process what has happened to them with the guidance of qualified professionals.
             LEGal guidance
Our team all has direct experience with Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence, we have been through the legal process. Because of this we are able to guide victims on their rights; the procedures to obtain a protection order; and to open a case, etc.
assistance with opening cases
Unfortunately it is a reality that our police force are reluctant to open any case, especially when it comes to Domestic Disputes. Our team is well experienced and knowledgeable on the Domestic Violence Act as well as the National Standard for Domestic Violence, because of this we are able to educate victims on what their rights are and how to insist a case is opened.
assistance applying for protection orders
When a victim is in distress applying for a Protection Order is a daunting task. The application form for a Protection Order is 7 pages and the courts also require statements and evidence to be presented upon application. Our experienced Team walks victims through the process and assists them with filing out the forms and completing a statement to the court.

Our objectives and growth plan

Silent Rights has a vision of growth. Our main objective is to help women of Domestic Abuse and Gender-Based Violence. Our focus is to provide services and resources to victims to help them rebuild their lives after abuse and violence.

We have set out to ensure we can provide all our services at no cost, and without restrictions, so that no woman feels like she is alone or cannot fight back because of financial restraints.

Our secondary objective is to empower women to rebuild their lives through Skills Development and Empowerment so that no woman is forced to stay in an abusive relationship because she is financially dependent on the abuser.

When you donate to a charitable organization, you help make the difference you are unable to provide in person. Consequently, social impact organizations don’t just work to achieve their mission – they also empower individuals to effect change. They mobilize people to play a part in making the world a better place.
